Our CASA volunteers show us bravery by investigating child abuse, neglect, and abandonment and then advocating for those children in court to make sure the child’s voice is heard. We recruit, train, and support volunteer child advocates, called Guardians ad Litem, as well as pro-bono attorneys to represent the volunteer, in the Fourth Judicial District (Ada, Boise, Elmore, and Valley Counties). For more information contact us volunteer@familyadvocates.org.

Our Family Strengthening volunteers show us bravery by working with families to create strong networks and healthy habits through classes, activities, and more. This program engages children and parents in building their Five Protective Factors and solidifying strong and healthy families. Concrete resources like diapers, wipes, food, and clothing is provided to the families in exchange for attending educational classes like self-care, nutrition, and childhood developmental milestones. If you are a parent or caregiver seeking support please contact our team at enroll@familyadvocates.org to find out more information.
